“I saw the angel in the marble and carved until I set him free.”
― Michealangelo
Have you ever made a goal you found yourself making every year? …Lose weight. Be happy. Pray more… You know, the kind that you think you should do, but never really can find the motivation and discipline to follow through?
For most of us, it’s easier to define what we don’t want than what we do want. So, why not start there? Be willing to carve out what you know you don’t want or need so you can create a masterpiece.
What could you say no to so you could say yes to what you’re really excited about?
Why wait for the new year? Let’s get started early.
Make it real: What are you willing to say no to today? Write it down (in a journal perhaps) and share it with someone you trust.

Hey Rachel,
I love this post! As a business owner, there are many things that clutter my plate. Thanks for bringing this thought into my mind. I will consider it throughout my day and see what ways I can chisel things out!

Awesome. Did it work?

Good topic. Excellent reminder. In my experience what you are talking about is the difference between saying yes with my head or saying yes with my heart. That is the qualifier. Then everything becomes cystal clear.

Ooo I like that. Great addition to the discussion. Thanks, Toni!
